School Improvement: What's my Role?

As we continue to work through the school improvement process, what is important to note is that although, we have a person serving in the role of leader for each of our key indicators (Family Engagement, and Standards- aligned instruction) , we all have a part to play in making this work a reality. Please make sure that as you are making those positive parent contacts, you are documenting those. When you have parent conferences, make sure that parents are signing in. Make sure that as you are planning, your team stays focused on standards and note that it's noted on your PLT template. These are all ways that we will track our progress toward these two indicators. As a reminder, everyone should be sending home weekly communication to parents regarding what their students are learning in class. Although, much of this is what you are already doing, the School Improvement process requires us to have it all documented and visible. Thank you so much for all of your hard work every day!
