Welcome Back Rock Stars!

What a great first week back!  The classrooms look great and it is nice to have the excited voices of returning students resounding in the halls!  This is such an important time to be building your classroom community. Making students feel that they have a safe and supportive classroom community serves to make them that much more able to learn and sets the tone for a great year. I have already seen so many of you doing things to create that supportive and accepting classroom environment. Thank you to Mrs. Tew and Mrs. Armstrong for facilitating the creation of "calm down" baskets for each classroom.  Remember that there may be students in your class that you don't even know will really appreciate that.
